OpenStudy (anonymous):

I help you you help me?

OpenStudy (day_2010):

Sure! :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

625y^2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Mine is above yours

OpenStudy (day_2010):

I'm not sure what your asking? ... sorry, but the answer you gave didn't help me.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry im in sixth don't know much. Did you look under the alternate forms? sometimes that works.

OpenStudy (day_2010):

I will see, thanks anyways! :)

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

12x^2+7xy-12y^2 12x^2-9xy+16xy-12y^2 ... Note: -9 and 16 both multiply to 12*12 = 144 and add to 7 (12x^2-9xy)+(16xy-12y^2) 3x(4x-3y)+(16xy-12y^2) 3x(4x-3y)+4y(4x-3y) (3x+4y)(4x-3y) So 12x^2+7xy-12y^2 completely factors to (3x+4y)(4x-3y)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(3x+4y)(4x-3y)

OpenStudy (day_2010):

Oh! Okay I understand... whew! thank you Jim...and Bolatito... @ Jim, your explanation just saved me lol

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

sure thing
