LCM. 21= 3 x 7 9 = 3 x 3 so, 3 is a common factor here. so we take only one '3'. hence LCM will be (common factors x uncommon factors) --> 3 x 3 x 7 = 63 LCM of two numbers 'a' and 'b' basically means that in the tables of 'a' and 'b' which is the first(least) such no. that is common to both.
