2 is a fact. 1 is an opinion. 
For example, The 1st might imply that sufficient research will take 5 or more years. But good research can also happen with a month or week.

If you look up "drama" in the dictionary, you will find that EXACT sentence, lol. Therefore its a fact. 

Honestly not THAT sure about #1. Can you choose fact for both??
