Factor by grouping -13x+6+6x^2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So, I can tell you the answer and how I get it, but I don't really remember what "by grouping" actually is, heh

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it didnt show my message >.<

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i thought it was prime, but then again i think everything tonight is prime, what did you get?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(3x-2)(2x-3)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

theres a positive 6 though

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-2*-3 is 6. I'm looking up factoring by grouping, because it may give a different answer.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im trying it with different signs in the answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

gr i hate when it doesnt work out right away lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait. you were right!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i had my signs mixed up .

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So, with factoring by grouping, you could end up with two different answers. 6(X^2+1)-13X or x(6x-13)+6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks ^_^

Kind of an odd question, if you ask me. Complete factoring seems more...convenient.

Anyway, good luck!
