JL = JA + AL JL = 8+13 JL = 21 --------------------- JB = JA (since an isosceles triangle forms at the top) JB = 8 KB = CK (for the same reason as stated above) KB = 11 CL = AL (again, same reason) CL = 13 KL = CL + CK KL = 13 + 11 KL = 24 ----------------------------------------- BK = CK (one more isosceles triangle) BK = 11 JK = JB + BK JK = 8 + 11 JK = 19 ================================== Perimeter of JKL: P = JL + KL + JK P = 21 + 24 + 19 P = 64
