The bottom shape is a square prism with base edges of 4 inches and a height of 12 inches. What is the volume of this composite figure if the top shape is a right pyramid with a height of 3 inches?

Alright, so we can break this shape into two shapes. Find each of the volumes independently, and then add them together for the total volume.

So, we need to know how to find the volume of the square prism, and how to find the volume of a right pyramid. Do you know how to find these?
