Stop relying on your calculator. You're plugging it in wrong. The way you've typed it is: 490.87 * pi, then divide by 2, then find the root. Try doing 4 * pi, get the answer. Take 490.87 and divide it by the answer, then find the root. Then multiply by 2. Universities will take away your calculator, don't get so attached to it.

@kymber, i looked at the snapshot of what you put in. the calculator abides by the rules for order of operation... you need to enclose the 4pi in parenthesis like this (4pi).
