Suggestion: Allow students to flag treads for personal use. Sometimes you come across a posting that is important for your studies. My suggestions is to allow people to be able to flag such entries, tagging them with whatever helps them. Subsequently, each person, through his/her profile would be able to revisit these with ease.
your profile contains a list (or at least used to) of all the questions youve asked or participated in. and unless your in the math group, and possibly physics group; the rest of the others hardly ever seem to move :/
As amistre pointed out, if you participate you can find it in your profile. That said, we've heard a reasonable amount of requests for following/favoriting a question, and we've got it on our list of things to talk about when we get a chance.
amistre64 and shadowfiend. I'm in the MIT 6.00 group and there is a little bit of acticity, but I digress. In http://openstudy.com/study#/updates/4d7fad1dce598b0b7e1251bb there is a posting by zohaibkhan. That is very useful and I would have liked to flag it. I participate in a number of threads over here and as a result that part of my profile does not necessarily reflect "important stuff". My suggestion allows a person to stash away and jugle (using tags) material for later reference. I don't know whether I explained myself well enough.
@chribonn is pretty right. Its not about recalling our old posting. But sometimes we come across really good answers and tagging them would help us to refer it to others.
i perfer to hire me a good book binder to lash up all my important docs :) I do agree that if you find some rare gems on here that you should be able to at least folder them.
