OpenStudy (chrisasl):

What does this cylindrical equation: r^2 + z^2 = r*sin(theta) represent?

OpenStudy (experimentx):

try changing into rectangular coordinate.

OpenStudy (chrisasl):

Thank you!

OpenStudy (experimentx):

wow ... i didn't even do a thing.

OpenStudy (chrisasl):

Should we choose a best asnwer? :D Well you helped me figure out that I don't have to remember the cylindrical equation, because I will have a cartesian one to reveal the surface :)

OpenStudy (chrisasl):

That's what I got, as well, a sphere :D, it just confused me because we are doing transformations from cartesian to cylindrical equations

OpenStudy (experimentx):

well ... :)
