When the three side of a right triangle are whole numbers , they are called Pythagorean triples . The triple with the smallest number is 3 ,4 ,and 5 . What are some other Pythagorean triples ? - How could you use a calculator to find them ? - Are mulitples of triples Pythagorean triples ? - How many Pythagorean triples have all three sides less than 100 ? **** SHOW WORK PLEASE ****

um well i know some triples because my teacher told me them but i dont know how to use a calculator unless you use the pythagorean theorem- a^2+b^2=c^2.... and yes multiples of pythagorean triples are triples. for example, 3,4,5 is and you can multiply each by 2 and it will be 6,8,10 which is a triple

heres some i know 3,4,5 5,12,13 7,24,25 8,15,17

no problem =D

To find them on a calculator would be possible, but a tedious job. This is a job for a computer. List here: http://www.tsm-resources.com/alists/trip.html
