x^3=63 what's x

OpenStudy (sburchette):

Take the cube root of both sides of the equation. \[\sqrt[3]{x^3}=\sqrt[3]{63}\] 63 isn't a perfect cube, and it factors into 3*3*7 which cannot be simplified any further. So \[x=\sqrt[3]{63}\approx3.979\]
