HELP! step by step... square root of x+1= square root of x +1??

OpenStudy (inkyvoyd):

Identity.

OpenStudy (inkyvoyd):

The square root of x+1 is equal to the square root of x+1, and you can just subtract the square root of x+1 from both sides and you get 0=0, indicating that the two expressions are in fact, the same, and cannot be solved.
