remember the log rules \[3logx = logx ^{3}\] and \[logx ^{3} -\log y = \log(x ^{3}/y)\]

with logs there are a few rules: any + or - is really a * and /sign. 2) the number before the LOG is the exponent .

and then \[\log(x ^{3}/y) + logz = \log(x ^{3}z/y)\]
