Your friends asks you to bring a couple bags of chips to his party. There are several brands of chips, each a different size and price. Write a formula that will help you find the price per gram for each bag. Let's let x=price of bag of chips y=number of grams and z= price per gram.

price per gram is price/number of grams because it tells us the price of 1 gram eg a 50g bag of chips costing £1 50g = £1 so 1g = £1/50 so if we have a bag of mass y costing x with price per gram of z z = x/y
