The renaissance was the booming of literature and arts! Everyone was either painting or buying the paintings. one of my favorite painters from the Renaissance was Michelangelo, and he was more of a sculpture than a painter. Leonardo Da Vinci was around during this time, and you have to know what have to know what he painted! Mona Lisa! It was a time that our ancestors in Europe wanted to focus on something other than war and land. My personal favorite time period :) Hope this helped!!

Rennaisance was very important for literature and arts. It was marked by a revival in interest for ancient Greek and Roman civilisations.

A new concept was started Humanism. It focused on Man. Earlier, under Church's authority, the belief was that man was here on the Earth due to a sin. SO he should not enjoy in the world.

But this changed during theRennaisance. The people proposed the idea of the limitless capabilities of the human mind and the right to enjoy. So you will find Rennaisance art and literature centred around Man. All his needs and desires and his wish to fufill them
