y=x+8;(4,10)

OpenStudy (ash2326):

@dooley you wanna check if (4, 10) satisfies the equation \[y=x+8\] ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that's thehe way it was written,I got y=-x+14 but the option is y=x+6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@ ash , I'm confused

OpenStudy (ash2326):

yeah, i think you are right:)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

r u sure!

OpenStudy (ash2326):

yeah your equation satisfies this

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you much-good day!!!!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ash r u still there!

OpenStudy (ash2326):

yeah

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1 more ? an u check this 4 me-(8,3);m=6

OpenStudy (ash2326):

Where's the equation?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

my answer option is y+3=6x + 8 , but I got y=6x-45, the equation is (8,3);m=6

OpenStudy (ash2326):

m=6 so \[y=6x+c\] We have (8, 3) on this line so \[3=6 \times 8+c\] \[c=-45\] You're right again:D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yayyyy!!! thanks!
