Sketch y=x2 and on the same axes y=4x2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Simple.....make a table for x and y. For various values of x (-3, -2, -1, 0, 1, 2, 3) fill the table of y values for both equations. Then, plot those points on a graph. You get your sketches.

View some youtube video on graphing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c74m88mbi9k&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9NBfAddEbrg&feature=relmfu Use geogebra to graph, if you don' want to do it by hand. http://www.geogebra.org/cms/

You can enter the equations on the input line of geogebra and it will graph the equations for you.
