Solve 12x2 – 28x + 4 = 0. Quadratic formula? Quick help?

Simply sub a=12, b=-28 and c=4 into the quadratic formula, try it urself.

I seem to be doing something wrong or not understand something.... I did try doing it myself and i get down to 28 +/- radical 592 over..which is way off from the answers available..

Yeah, that's one of the answers...obviously the right one. I just dont understand what I was doing wrong....

okok. so did u get one of ur working out steps to be 28 +/- 4 Sqrt 37 over 24?

Not exactly...I couldnt even get down to 37...i was at 592 somehow..but the rest was the same..here ill draw what I did..
