Change a tax rate of $14.50 per thousand to a tax rate per hundred.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

100 is 1/10th of 1000 so I would guess, the rate per hundred would also be 1/10th of 14.50 so $1.45?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So what did you do? you divided 100 by 1000?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah, and that's 0.1 so then the rate should be equal in ratio

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So where did you get 14.50?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I mean than what do you do when you get 14.50? Sorry.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

times that by (100/1000) or 0.1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok :) thank you
