Logarithms and their Inverse Properties. Evaluate: Please show steps if any? log10^14

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Remember that: logx^y = y*logx. So, our problem is reduced to: 14*log10. Now, assuming log means log base 10, we have to think about 10 raised to what number is equal to 10. The answer is one. So log10 = 1, and our number simplifies to 14*1 = 14. If anything was unclear, feel free to ask away :-)

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

- yes but log 10 =1 just when log 10 is logarithm base 10 from 10

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

- so from or of 10
