first get the rate of travel of the first trip (480/7.5) in miles/hr then get the rate for the answers, and pick the corresponding one.

Speed (which is what you're trying to calculate) is equal to distance divided by time So to get the speed for the first one, you do 480/7.5 Do the same for all of the choices and whichever is equal to this, is your answer
