What is the 20th term of the arithmetic sequence 3, -3, -9, … ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I guess you need to calculate 3 - ( 19 * 6 )=-111. The first term is 3 and than you always subtract 6. So because you start with 3 you need to do this 19 times do get to the 20th term.
