Domain values for a function are all the possible x-values. Range values for a function are all the possible y-values. When plugging this function into a graphing calculator it becomes easy to see.. The domain for a quadratic function is all real numbers. This parabola opens down. The y-value of the vertex is the highest possible y-value. Here it is 5. Since the parabola opens down the range is then \[y \le5\] Hope this helps! :)
