When a capacitor has a charge of absolute value 80 µC on each plate the potential difference across the plates is 10 V. How much energy is stored in this capacitor when the potential difference across its plates is 120 V? 58 mJ 0.12 J 0.36 J 0.48 mJ 0.90 GJ

Which answer as i make the rule but the answer was wrong

OpenStudy (experimentx):

use the relation U = 1/2 Q^2 / C to find Q at 10 V and 120V use this relation Q = CV

OpenStudy (experimentx):

Better to use relation U = 1/2 C V^2 <---- I hope it works
