In soups or in dips, yogurt is a part of almost every Armenian meal. a)Compound Sentence b)complex c)simple d)compound-complex
D
why?
um..I kinda searched it..
http://eslbee.com/sentences.htm http://www.learnamericanenglishonline.com/Orange%20Level/O5%20Compound-Complex%20Sentences.html The above websites sort of break it down into how each type of sentence is categorized. According to the second website, "A compound-complex sentence is made from two independent clauses and one or more dependent clauses." The statement above does not seem to have two independent clauses... I would have to go with B) Complex. The sentence has a dependent clause "in soups or in dips" and an independent clause "yogurt is a part of almost every Armenian meal."
