Does anyone know a free LISP program compiler I can use for self study?

LispIDE http://lispidedotnet.codeplex.com/ LispSharp http://sourceforge.net/projects/lispsharp/ Racket (Scheme dialect) http://racket-lang.org/ I use DrRacket (Scheme editor and interpreter) and I find it to be great. Some of the features are parenthesis highlighting and auto matching, color coding editor, etc. It is also very easy to use. Lisp and Scheme (Lisp dialect) are slightly different in their use of keywords and such and 6.001 uses Scheme so I don't know if you need Lisp for something else or for 6.001 SICP. If it is for 6.001 I would use DrRacket otherwise you can try the links to the Lisp interpreters.
