Ellie and Michaela found a box at a tag sale that had lot of electrical equiment in it. they took out a roll of wire and a battery. They hooked this up to an on and off swithc and light bild fixture. tell how they did this so the light bulb actually lit. Describe the flow of electricity here.

Essentially what the on and off switch does is complete the circuit, so when it is set to "off" what is happening is that the circuit is not being completed, and when it's "on" the circuit becomes complete.
