There are two loops in the circulatory system: one is the systematic circulatory system, which is all the blood vessels in the body EXCEPT the lungs, and the pulmonary circulatory system which is the blood vessels in the lungs.

I want to make sure that you are cool with that concept and the terminology before we get involved with the heart itself...
