HELPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!1 Which point would be in the solution of x > -3?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I suppose any point on the real number line that is greater than -3. Examples: -2, 1, 0, 1, 2, 3, 1000000 and so on until infinity.

THESE ARE THE MULTIPLE CHOICE ANSWERS GIVEN (-1, -3) (-4, -5) (-5, -6) (-3, -4)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well I suppose that you are talking about (x, y) coordinates. so (-1, -3) = (x,y) and we know that x can be only greater than -3. Therefore the first solution is right: -1 is the only number greater (more positive) than -3.
