|2t + 5| - 7 = 4 +7 +7 ---------------- |2t + 5| = 11 *Take the absolute value brackets out since the outcome isn't negative within the brackets 2t + 5 = 11 -5 -5 ----------- 2t = 6 t = 3 I would think that's the answer.
