The Venus fly trap plant has a scent on its mouth that attracts fly's and then when if a fly lands on it its mouth closes and then digests the fly for food, unlike normal plants that get their nutrients/energy from photo synthesis and from the ground. The same can be said about the penguins that have large amounts of blubber to enable them to survive in Antarctica, opposed to Parrots that have a low amount of blubber that is optimal to living in tropical conditions.
