Given that y = 3x^2 - 5x + 4dx. Find the expression for the equation of the curve if it passes through (2, 4)

hero (hero):

I'm assuming dx means derivative of x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

hero (hero):

Are you sure what you have is correct as written?

hero (hero):

Shouldn't it be: y = (3x^2 - 5x + 4)dx

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it doesnt have the parenthesis. But maybe it should..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

any luck?

hero (hero):

Not really. Apparently without the parentheses, there is no approach to this.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well stick em in and se how it goes
