Sorry, I didn't completely understand, but this is what you'll have to do. Find the area of that Hans needs to paint. I'm guessing it'll be 18in * (length) then you'll have to multiply times two to find the total. (Area to be painted) X 2 Important things to know. 4quarts in a gallon 12 in in a foot once you have your area, you'll have to convert, either your area to paint, or the 175ft^2 to inches. I myself don't like working much with decimals, so I'd go for the second option. 175ft^2=2100in^2 We now know what a quart can paint. If you'd like to know for a gallon just multiply by 4 2100*4=8400 Depending on how much the total area was you'll decide to buy paint by quarts or gallons or quarts and gallons. you'll probably want to save money and also purchase no more than needed.
