\[m - 18 = 3m\] \[-18 = 3m - m\] \[-18 = 2m\] \[-9 = m\] Therefore, m is equal to -9. If you don't understand, please say so :)

\[m-18=3m so subtract the m from the \left side \to the \right side, so the equation is now -18=3m-m. your new equation is -18=2m. divide the 2 from the m \to the-18. m=-9
