OpenStudy (pythagoras123):

Two cars, A and B are travelling along a race track at the same speed. The radius of each wheel on Car A is smaller than the radius on each wheel on Car B. Which car would finish the race first and why?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i suppose both will finish at the same time

OpenStudy (sburchette):

Seems like a trick question somewhat. If they are traveling the same linear speed then the car with larger tires would have a smaller rotational speed. Yet, their linear speed is the same.

Parth (parthkohli):

Yes. This is indeed a trick question as the first line says so. 'Same speed'
