You draw 1 card at random from a well-shuffled deck of 52 cards, set it aside without replacing it, and draw another card from the deck at random. The events "get the king of spades on the first draw" and "get the queen of diamonds on the second draw" are independent events. T or F I say T, am I right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

not if you don't replace it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

they are independent with replacement, but without replacement the provabilities have changed since there are now only 51 cards in the deck
