the solutions to this equation algebraically using the Fundamental Theorem of Algebra of x^3 -15x^2 +54x=v

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its that a v after the equals sign?

Parth (parthkohli):

^^ Yes.

Is it supposed to be a zero? This question is asking us to factor the polynomial (albeit in a very fancy way).

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea it is sorry i ment to put a 0

All you need to do is factor. There is an "x" you can pull out of all the terms:\[x^3-15x^2+54x=x(x^2-15x+54)\]Now you need to factor the quadratic, which there are plenty of ways to do.
