Does your teacher allow bullet points in the first place? Bullet points are viewed as informal writing.

well all she said was a 20 page paper apa format and I looked up the apa format and it says that it is allowed

If it is APA try to avoid bullet points. There are more clear ways of expressing ideas. If it is a quote, then do a block-quote (see APA Manual, pg. 92 for an example).
