Three different restriction enzymes (A, B and C) were used to cut a linear fragment of DNA. Single and double digests were electrophoresed on an agrose gel and the following fragment sizes (in Kb) were observed in the gel: A: 6+8 B:11, 13 C: 3,9,12 A + B: 5,6,13 A + C: 3,9 B +C: 3,4,8,9 Draw a restriction map of the molecule that completely explains these results. For full credit, you must show your work by drawing maps of the double digest.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Finally, I hope this is the correct answer. =)

Thank you so much! Really appreciate it! I'm kind of new to restriction mapping, and i have no clue how to approach this question. Any chance you could explain the steps please?
