If f(0)=0, f(1)=4, f(2)=4, f(3)=10 and f(4)=16, find -f(2x+3) for similar values of x.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

This is a transformations unit and my teacher told me to do it like this: -f(2x+3) -f[(2*x + 3/2*2)] -f[2(x+3/2)] why? i don't get it..

OpenStudy (beginnersmind):

Your teacher just rearranged 2x+3 into 2(x+3/2) multiply it back and you'll see it's the same thing. But I'm not really sure what the problem is asking for. It's impossible to give the function from the information you gave.
