Factor: 64+27x^3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the plinomial is not factorable with real numbers.

I know I tried to solve it but it seems not factorable as you said

OpenStudy (blockcolder):

It's the sum of 2 cubes. \[\begin{align} 64+27x^3&=4^3+(3x)^3\\ &=(4+3x)(4^2-4\cdot3x+(3x)^2)\\ &=(3x+4)(9x^2-12x+16) \end{align}\] For reference, the formula is: \[a^3+b^3=(a+b)(a^2-ab+b^2)\]

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

(3x + 4)(9x^2 oh block has done it

Thank you guys
