Surface area of the prism = 2(7*6) + 2(6*2) + 2(2*7)
surface area = 2(42) + 2(12) + 2(14)
surface area = 84 + 24 + 28
surface area = 136inches square

The surface area tells her stuff like how much material she might need for decorating the prism etc or for painting it etc
