What comparison test should I use to see if this series converges/diverges?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\sum_{1}^{\infty} 1/n^3+4\]

OpenStudy (blockcolder):

Can you verify that \[\frac{1}{n^3+4} < \frac{1}{n^3}\]?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well I know 1/n^3 diverges... So using the comparison test would I say the other also converges?

OpenStudy (blockcolder):

1/n^3 converges, not diverges.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sorry thats what I meant. corrected my self at the end.

OpenStudy (blockcolder):

Yeah. It goes like that. :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay so say it was 1/n^3-4, would i use the same 1/n^3 but the limit comparison test?

OpenStudy (blockcolder):

Yes.
