Any help appreciated! :) Im writing a scientific paper for college, its the first time i've had to write a scientific paper so im confused on parts. Currently im having trouble with even beginning it. Im supposed to provide a broad context as to the importance of studying my (in general all people i suppose) study habits. Im a little frustrated on how i should start... :(

So you're supposed to talk about why studying YOUR study habits is important, or you're supposed to write about why study habits generally are important?

Thats the problem, my instructor is as far from helpful and explanatory as she could be. Im assuiming im supposed to say why the study i did (over my study habits) was an important study to do. Like why was the study (over studying habits) worth doing in the first place.. Sorry i cant explain better.

Since it sounds like you aren't sure of the assignment, I might send the instructor an email and ask for clarification.  It's hard to start if you're not sure what topic you should address! Do you have a description in the course notes or syllabus?

not really. i suppose i will just have to go to her. it seems anyone i show the paper thats supposed to "explain" it cant get it. oh well. thanks anyways. =D
