Find the domain of the function: f(x)= 6/(x+3)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

R-{-3}

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So basically, what values of x will this function give some number output, and what values of x will the function give an undefined output? (Hint, 1/0 is undefined ) @smr_kml It is better if you use |R \ {-3}, which shows that set subtraction is different than regular subtraction

Ok thank you @mareoraft

I put that but was marked wrong on my test. is there a different way to write it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Can you try this : \[x \neq -3\]
