your company wants to have a team meeting on Wednesday at 1 pm London time. What time will this be for your office invitees in Singapore?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Have you looked up the time zones for London and Singapore? From there, it should be an addition problem. What are the time zones?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

There is no time zone in the question. Is there a rpoblem that I need to do to figure this out

OpenStudy (anonymous):

London is in one time zone. Singapore is in a different time zone (it's further east). If you look up what those different time zones are (google: London time zone), you can figure out the difference.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i looked on the time zone converter but I only got 2 out of 5 questios correct.

If you search for "london time zone", what does it say? When you search for "singapore time zone," what does that say?

Directrix (directrix):

Singapore time is 7 hours ahead of London time. At the moment, it is approx 6:38 a.m on Tuesday in London and 1:38 p.m Tuesday in Singapore. The meeting should be held at 8 p.m Wednesday Singapore time. There is no Daylight Saving adjustment for Singapore this year.
