4k^2=5k

yes?

whats the answer

Parth (parthkohli):

Is it (4k)^2 or 4k^2?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4k^2=5k

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Divide both sides by k to get: 4k = 5. Then divide both sides by four to get: k = 5/4. Note that k = 0 is also a solution for k. So we have the two roots: k = 0 and k = 5/4. The other way of doing it is to subtract 5k from both sides and factor out k to get: k(4k - 5) = 0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

k=0, k=5/4

okay thanks
