Does the president make the promises or is it actually the parties behind the president?
And, When opponents make each other look bad, like when Obama was made to look like a terrorist, was it the political parties who started that or was it voters who did not like Obama?

The inauguration of Barack Obama as President of the United States took ... Hopefully, more and more people will begin to feel their story is somehow part ... I think when the average voter looks at that, they rightly feel they're locked out of the process. ... What I am opposed to is the attempt by political hacks like Karl Rove.
