Could someone help me with this? I'm really confused (I don't understand why there aren't just 4 points) Here's the question: In the xy-coordinate plane, how many points are a distance of 4 units from the origin? Answer: More than four

an infinite number

What is an infinite number?

I will try. Picture a circle with center at the origin and a radius of 4. All points on the circle will be 4 units from the origin from the definition of a radius. So you may htink of the points of the circle as integers but in reality the points include nonintegers such as 2.2, 2.23, 2.231, 2.232 etc infinite means you can try to count them but you will never finish because there will always be more

OH, okay! Thanks so much - I understand now. I appreciate your thorough answer!
