Are you sure that 1 isn't a (-1)?  This sequence doesn't make sense, if it's increasing and decreasing.

Well, this isn't an arithmetic sequence because there is no constant rate.  Let me check if it's geometric.

Well, I can't see that there's a constant ratio, either (which would make it geometric, if it did have one).  I'd say that this sequence is NEITHER.   However, because this problem asks you to find the next three terms, it sounds like it should be geometric.  It is definitely NOT arithmetic, though.
